I do say! Have you ever been so impressed? (*Blushes*). I have just outdone myself. S’mores cupcakes. You heard right. Let me tell you a little bit about them. First off, let me say that I ADORE making smores when we have a fire. Whether in the back yard with friends, or camping by a river, when there’s a fire, I am there with the graham crackers, Hershey bars and large marshmellows. The taste of a toasted marshmellows gives me nothing but warm fuzzy feelings because it brings back such fun memories of camping in Cherokee with my family and my grandpa. We roasted marshmellows every night! So, now I have two awesome things combined into something pretty special, and cute! So, the cupcake itself is a white cupcake with some unsweetened cocoa powder added. Baked at 325* for about 18 minutes. The icing is a recipe I will not give out–just like all my other recipes, I will not share them–stingy maybe, but I am a bit protective of them. So, it includes chocolate milk, hershey syrup and a few other things. And then anytime you can use a butane torch in the kitchen—it’s guaranteed awesomeness! So, there you have the S’mores Cupcake-delicious with a huge glass of whole, fat, thick, cold milk! Because skim or low fat just won’t do!
